College or University Transfer in Australia
Transferring to another university, whether you’re a domestic or overseas student studying at an Australian University, is possible but not always straightforward. Typically, universities and colleges require students to complete at least six months of the main course of study for which their visa was granted before permitting a transfer.
However, transferring is not impossible. You can still transfer if you receive a letter of offer from the new college or university and a letter of release from your current academic institution.
